The Arts Council of Greater Weston invites photographers of all ages and skill levels to participate in this year’s Summer Instagram Photo Contest, The Magic of Contrast.
Contrast is all around us—in light and shadow, old and new, motion and stillness, bold colors and subtle tones. Through your lens, explore how differences create beauty, emotion, and visual impact. We’re looking for compelling images that tell stories through contrast and reveal unique perspectives on the world around us.
Whether you are a seasoned photographer or simply enjoy capturing moments with your phone, we encourage you to share your creativity and join the celebration of photographic art.
Contest Dates: June 15 – July 31, 2026. Open to: Photographers of all skill levels
How to Enter: Register online at www.1weston.com, then post one photo per day on your Instagram account tagging @1westonfl and using #summerphotocontest2026. Instagram accounts must be public.
Judging: Entries will be reviewed by a selected panel of jurors who will evaluate submissions for creativity, originality, technical quality, and interpretation of the theme.
Exhibition Opportunity: Selected entries will be showcased in a public exhibit, with cash prizes awarded to selected winners.
