A New Chapter for Art in Downtown Coral Springs: Relocated Museum of Art Opens with Picasso Exhibition

Coral Springs Museum of Art new downtown gallery

A new era for arts and culture has arrived in Coral Springs! The Coral Springs Museum of Art celebrated the grand opening of its new downtown gallery on October 9 and 10, welcoming nearly 700 visitors eager to explore the impressive new space and its inaugural exhibitions.

Located at 3380 N. University Drive, the museum’s new home features more than 5,000 square feet of exhibition space, a modern street-facing design overlooking Sample Road, and flexible gallery walls designed to accommodate a variety of rotating exhibitions. Visitors will also find a retail store, coffee station, and creative studio.

The grand opening introduced Picasso: A Graphic Journey, an international exhibition showcasing 57 original prints by legendary Spanish artist Pablo Picasso, created between 1923 and 1972. The collection offers visitors a rare opportunity to experience works by one of the 20th century’s most influential artists right in the heart of Coral Springs. The exhibition runs through December 5.

Also on display is Cages and Collage, featuring the work of local artist Janet Gold. This exhibition will remain on view through January 30, 2027.

The relocation represents an exciting step in the continued development of Downtown Coral Springs as a destination for arts, culture, and entertainment. While the main gallery has moved downtown, the museum’s popular art classes and creative programs will continue at the CSMoA Creative Studios on the second floor of the Coral Springs Center for the Arts, located at 2855 Coral Springs Drive.

Admission to the new gallery is free, with hours Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from noon to 8 p.m.
