Halloween in Davie comes with a distinctly hometown feel, and one of the season’s signature traditions returns this October with the Town’s annual Halloween Happenings celebration.
The free, family-friendly event will take place Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds, 4201 Rodeo Way. The Town of Davie is inviting families to come dressed for the occasion and enjoy a morning of Halloween fun in the heart of the community.
Halloween Happenings has become a popular October tradition in Davie, combining kid-friendly activities with the Town’s Western personality. In recent years, the event has included costume contests, live entertainment, children’s activities, inflatables and even a horse costume contest—giving families plenty to see and do beyond traditional trick-or-treating.
The Bergeron Rodeo Grounds make an especially fitting setting for the celebration. For decades, the venue has served as one of Davie’s best-known gathering places, hosting everything from rodeos and concerts to community festivals and family events.
For parents, Halloween Happenings offers an easy way to enjoy the holiday in a daytime setting. Kids can show off their costumes, families can take plenty of photos, and residents can spend a few hours enjoying one of Davie’s most recognizable community spaces.
The Town has confirmed the 2026 date, time and location, although the full activity lineup had not yet been posted as of press time. Residents should check the Town of Davie’s official website closer to the event for the final list of attractions and any additional details.
Admission is free, making Halloween Happenings one of the easiest—and most affordable—ways for local families to celebrate the season together.
