Listen to the “Sounds of the Town” this winter! The vibrant and engaging outdoor events feature live music performances from local bands at the Bamford Sports Complex, located at 3801 S. Pine Island Road, and offer a festive atmosphere for the community.
The concerts are held on select Fridays of every month, from January through July, between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Notably, the Town of Davie has also announced additional dates for this series, showcasing their commitment to providing entertainment and cultural activities for the community.
The series includes a range of music genres, featuring bands such as Mixtape, which play ‘80s rock. The event also includes special performances, like one from the South Florida Cloggers, adding a unique cultural touch to the experience.
Attendees should bring their lawn chairs and blankets for comfortable festival seating. The series fosters a community-friendly atmosphere where people can enjoy music under the stars. Additionally, food trucks are present at the venue, offering various food and beverage options. However, it’s important to note that pets are not permitted in the park during these events.
This month’s concert will be held on February 27th and features the band Southern Blood. Attendees will rock out with their “salute to southern rock.”
The concert is the official kick-off of Davie’s Orange Blossom Festival and is expected to be a huge event. Bring blankets, lawn chairs, and dancing shoes, but not your furry friends. See you at the show!
