Early Childhood Director
Temple Dor Dorim Early Education Center
Building Foundations That Last
Judy Frye serves as the Early Childhood Director at Temple Dor Dorim Early Education Center, where she oversees curriculum, faculty mentorship, enrollment, budgeting, and NAEYC standards. She also leads the school’s summer camp program, ensuring year-round enrichment in a nurturing, community-centered environment.
Born in Miami Beach and raised in Weston, Judy was an outgoing child who naturally advocated for others. Her passion for inclusion began early through her grandparents’ volunteer work with United Cerebral Palsy. Growing up surrounded by individuals of all abilities shaped her belief that every child deserves dignity, opportunity, and belonging.
Inclusion as a Way of Life
Those early experiences inspired her to earn a Master’s degree in Special Education and to champion differentiated, inclusive instruction. For Judy, education is not simply academic preparation. It is about helping each child feel seen, valued, and capable during the most critical years of development.
She began her teaching career in the South Bronx, where she quickly learned that educators serve as steady anchors for families navigating challenges. That experience deepened her commitment to supporting the whole child and strengthening the entire school community.
Leading with Heart
Judy describes her leadership style as collaborative and mission-driven. She empowers teachers, fosters open communication, and prioritizes authentic relationships. Her defining trait is compassionate leadership, balancing warmth with high standards and clear expectations.
Through her work, she shapes not only young learners but also families and educators, building a culture rooted in connection, excellence, and belonging.
