The City of Cooper City is preparing to celebrate its 67th Annual Founder’s Day on Saturday, March 14, 2026. This beloved community tradition will once again bring families, friends, and neighbors together for a full day of festivities at Brian Piccolo Park, located at 9501 Sheridan Street.
The celebration begins at 8:00 a.m. and continues through 9:30 p.m., offering something for everyone. This year’s theme, “Americana Fest,” promises a patriotic atmosphere filled with red, white, and blue spirit. Guests can enjoy children’s rides and games, a classic car show, arts and crafts vendors, and a wide variety of food options throughout the park.
Live entertainment will take place across multiple stages during the day, showcasing talented performers and keeping the energy high from morning until evening. As always, the festivities will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display that lights up the night sky in celebration of Cooper City’s proud history and vibrant future.
Community involvement remains at the heart of Founder’s Day. Residents were invited to help design the official event T-shirt, incorporating this year’s Americana theme into their submissions. Local businesses will also have an opportunity to connect with attendees during the popular Founder’s Day Business Expo, highlighting products and services while supporting the local economy.
Admission remains family friendly at just $1 to $2 per person, making it easy for everyone to join the celebration. With thousands expected to attend, Founder’s Day continues to showcase the strong sense of pride and togetherness that defines Cooper City.
