Here comes Peter Cottontail! Cooper City & Davie Host Egg hunts

Cowboy Town is turning into Bunnyville for one special morning and Copper City will host an egg-stravagant day to welcome in Spring. Families with young children are invited to attend these special events.

Davie

The Town of Davie Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts will host the Hippity Hoppity Egg Hunt at Bamford Sports Complex from 9:00 am to noon on Saturday, April 8th. The egg hunt will begin at 10:00 am sharp. 

Thousands of eggs scattered throughout the fields with plenty for all the children present. There will also be special “prize” eggs included in the hunt. Kids who find a “price” egg will earn a special prize. 

In addition to the egg hunt, The Town of Davie invites all of the town’s families to stop by and enjoy a number of other family activities, including inflatable bouncy houses, a petting farm, food trucks, craft vendors, games, and music.

Cooper City

Hop over for a morning filled with fun, activities, games, and more! Cooper City will host its Egg-stravaganza on Saturday, April 1, at Flamingo West Sports Complex. Egg hunts will be split by age group. Toddlers, aged three and under will kick things off at 10:15 am, followed by children ages four to six at 10:30 am. Seven to nine year-olds will begin their hunt at 10:45, and tweens will enjoy the final hunt at 11:00 am.

Mr. and Mrs. Cottontail are scheduled to arrive at 10:00 am and will be available to greet children and take photos. Music and additional activities will be available prior to and briefly following the egg hunt. This complimentary event is open to Cooper City residents and their guests. Baskets will be provided courtesy of Memorial Healthcare. Don’t forget to bring a camera.
