Calling All Artists Pembroke Pines Hosts 5th Annual Student Art Competition

Is there an artist in your family. Do you have kids that love to paint, or sculpt or draw? Enter their work in Pembroke Pines’ 5th annual Student Art Competition. 

Students residing in the City of Pembroke Pines and/or attending a Pembroke Pines school or a city art class in grades K-12 are eligible to enter the 5th Annual Student Art Competition.  Students have an opportunity to win $25-$100 gift cards.  

Students will be judged by their artistic expression and creativity in four grade-level groups:

  • Kindergarten through second grade
  • Third grade through fifth grade
  • Sixth-grade through eighth grade
  • Ninth grade through twelfth grade.

Submissions may include collages, drawings, paintings, photographs, sculptures or a combination of mediums and materials. 

Applications are being accepted now through Monday, October 24, 3033 at the Studio 18 Art Complex, located at 1101 Poinciana Drive.  Winners will be announced on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 12:30 pm at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way.  Participants will receive a free frozen yogurt treat from Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt.
