Our City Media is looking for a dynamic Advertising Consultant to work with local businesses

Advertising Consultants are the engine that keeps Our City Media going. This position is an outside sales role with unlimited compensation. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for his/her local community.  Our City offers a highly flexible work environment. If you have experience helping businesses grow through advertising or have a passion for working with businesses in the local commuinity, you are exactly who we are looking for!

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Identify, contact, and close new and existing advertising accounts
  • Be the "link" between Our City and our clients
  • Work with the Our City graphics team to ensure ads are completed and approved on time
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients
  • Ensure timely payment from your clients
  • Flexible At-Home Hours

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with some college coursework preferred
  • 3+ years experience in a sales environment
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
  • Familiarity with print marketing is a Plus!
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time-management and multitasking abilities
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required
