The City of Weston opened its newest park on May 9th. The two-acre park is the first public park within the Bonaventure community and is located at 520 Racquet Club Road. The park has a number of state-of-the-art amenities, including:
- Playground for children with covered seating areas
- Half-court basketball court
- Outdoor fitness equipment for adults including a Pull-Up/Dip, Squat Press and Stretching Station
- Bike Fixit Station
- Restrooms
- Lighted walkways
- Seating areas
- Parking lot, accessed from Racquet Club Road
- Landscaped open space areas
For the time being, the park is limited to passive use because of the pandemic. Friendly dogs are welcome as long as they are on a maximum six-foot leash. The park will be open from 8:00 am till 6:00 pm, during the COVID-19 emergency.
