Wanting to say thank you to first responders at the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department in Weston, The Palace at Weston’s team delivered 50 delectable, hand-crafted box lunches prepared by chefs from The Palace Senior Living Communities.

“We wanted to show our appreciation for the work these men and women do every day,” said Elizabeth Martinez, Director of Marketing for the Community. “They are on the front lines fighting the coronavirus pandemic. We’re very grateful for them and their service.”

The delicious menu choices included a Middle Eastern feast of grilled chicken & beef shish kabab, Israeli chopped salad, homemade hummus, a side of very special basmati rice and a grilled vegetable dish called Maqluba.

The Palace Group strives to be a good neighbor in cities where their communities are located and lend support when needed. While their teams are accustomed to caring for residents, they welcome these opportunities to give back and help others.  The team will soon be delivering similar lunches to the Homestead Police Department and Kendall Fire Rescue.
