The Foot, ankle, and leg specialists at South Florida Institute of Sports Medicine (SFISM) have moved to a new location off Pine Island Road near the Westfield Broward Mall. Dr. Warren Windram and Dr. John Goodner are already seeing patients at the new, state-of-the-art location, which opened to accommodate the increasing number of patients.

SFISM provides the most comprehensive, state-of-the-art podiatric, orthopedic, and rehabilitative care for patients in Broward County.
Their highly trained physicians, physical therapists, and staff provide patients with the latest medical technology and surgical procedures. Each patient is given individual attention and is always encouraged to ask questions.

Foot, Ankle & Leg Specialists

Dr. Goodner and Dr. Windram are experts in diagnosing and treating all foot, ankle, and leg injuries. Patient ages range from newborns to mature adults. The doctors review a detailed diagnosis and treatment plan with each patient before any treatment started.

Dr. Windram specializes in foot & ankle reconstructive/trauma surgery, with a particular interest in total ankle joint replacement surgery. He is the Chief of Podiatry programs at Memorial Regional and Memorial Regional South Hospital. Dr. Goodner is a Board Certified Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgeon. He specializes in sports medicine, foot, and ankle injuries, foot and ankle arthroscopy, minimally invasive surgery, lower extremity trauma, and lower extremity deformities in infants, children, teens, and adults. Dr. Goodner brings a unique approach to patient care as a former athlete and is now a proud Team Physician for his alma mater Saint Thomas Aquinas. He was recently voted Best Podiatrist for Pembroke Pines.

Fractures, Arthritis and More

The new facility will allow the doctors at SFISM to treat many ailments in-house, eliminating the need for a trip to the hospital. They diagnose and treat all foot, ankle, and leg fractures in adults and children. They also treat foot and ankle arthritis and many cartilage injuries. 

Pediatric and Sports Medicine

The new office space will enable the doctors and staff at SFISM to treat even more patients. They treat

a variety of ailments in children, including flat feet, high arches, fractures, growing pains, warts, toe walkers, in & out toe, limping, and ingrown nails. They also offer a full range of therapies for athletes, such as shockwave therapy, PRP & stem cell injections, arthroscopy, and more.

SFISM now offers telemedicine consultations and same-day appointments. The new space has more exam rooms, giving patients faster service and greater access to care. Families will have peace of mind knowing injured loved ones will be seen by a board-certified surgeon quickly.
