A World of Knowledge Learning Center is celebrating 20 years of serving young children in the communities of Pembroke Pines, Miramar, and surrounding cities. Since its inception, the school has taken a different approach: to help young children learn and appreciate the world that surrounds them while learning their ABCs.
“For the past two decades, we have been blessed with the opportunity of seeing young children build a strong academic foundation through music and play. One of the main goals of the school is to embrace diversity and help young children learn about the different cultures that make up our world. Our lessons truly bring the world to your child’s learning experience in an exciting way.” says Elizabeth Gonzalez, Owner/Director of the school.
A World of Knowledge was a pioneer in introducing VPK to the community and one of the largest providers in Broward since the program’s inception in 2005. Students that graduate from the program each year enter Kindergarten with high reading and math levels. Our students are prepared academically, socially and emotionally as they begin their elementary journey.
More than 3,500 students have been introduced to the concepts of letters, sounds, and higher-order critical thinking skills in a fun, interactive, and engaging way. The school is recognized by many parents and educators as the #1 Choice for QUALITY in Early Learning and has been named BEST PRESCHOOL in Pembroke Pines three years in a row. A World of Knowledge offers an accelerated learning program that allows children to explore everyday concepts at their pace in a fun way allowing them to reach their higher potential.
“We don’t teach our students in the traditional way; we teach through interactive activities and with love, compassion, and care,” said Gonzalez, “I am blessed to have incredible teachers and administrators working with me who believe in our programs and have stepped up, to go above and beyond – my already high expectations.”
“My goal each day is to welcome students to the center and make sure they are in a loving and nurturing environment while they are learning and growing.” says Ms. Jenna Rauch, the Director of the school for over 11 years. “We take pride in providing a safe place where our parents know their child is cared for while they are learning.”
Gonzalez proudly adds: “Our success with the children is based on our teaching styles, low child-to-teacher ratio, staff dedication, and the unique multicultural themes and concepts which were created specifically for our school. Multicultural Awareness, Character education, values, and etiquette are also essential components of our curriculum.”
