OUTDOOR HOLIDAY POPS CONCERT A Musical Memory For All

On Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 6:30 pm in the Weston Town Center behind the Bell Tower, The City of Weston, the Weston Music Society, the Weston Town Center, in partnership with the Arts Council of Greater Weston, bring you the Holiday Pops Concert.

Annalisa Walker, Special Events Manager of the City of Weston, said, “We are thrilled to provide this opportunity for the community to enjoy a beautiful evening under the stars and kick start the holiday season with songs sure to get you moving and in the spirit.  We invite all to join in on the fun.”

The festive performance will feature the sounds of the season to kick off the holidays with a musical memory for all.  We welcome the return of the Symphony of the Americas and their new Maestro Pablo Mielgo.  Everyone in the community is invited to share in the joyous sounds of this free event.  The orchestra is bringing an up-and-coming soprano, Kyaunnee Richardson, who is described as “especially memorable with a beautiful, playful coloratura voice and a winning way.”

And we have enticed Olaf, from “Frozen” to return for the festivities.  He loves taking pictures with everyone!

Limited seating will be provided.  But there is plenty of room to for you to bring chairs and sway to the music in the plaza.  This event is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser for toddlers to grandparents. In other words, a hit for all ages.

Lou Marett, President of the Weston Music Society says, “We welcome the community to join us in kicking off the holiday season with such a special event.  We are delighted to have so many partners just as dedicated to providing Weston with world-class music.”
