Coral Springs invites families to light up their December nights with a three-day holiday festivity! Kick things off on December 2nd with “Illuminate the Plaza” at Coral Springs City Hall from 5 pm to 9 pm. Witness the grandeur of the City Hall Tree Lighting, enjoy a special appearance from Santa himself, and immerse in numerous activities.
Little ones can hop on a complimentary train ride encircling City Hall or slide into the frosty “ice” skating rink for some wintry fun.
Festive Marketplace
Ring in the spirit of giving on December 9th! Coral Springs’ Festive Marketplace, located at the City Hall Lawn, offers a curated collection of gifts for everyone on your list. While adults shop, kids can craft holiday-themed keepsakes and savor free milk and cookies. Gastronomes rejoice, as a plethora of local food trucks will serve up delicious bites. And don’t forget to groove – a lively music corner awaits dance enthusiasts.
Annual Holiday Parade
Be spellbound on Wednesday, December 13th, at 7 p.m. as Coral Springs unveils its Annual Holiday Procession. Watch Sample Road come alive with musical bands, ornate floats, and unique parade entries, all under the theme, “Magical Memories: A Journey Through Time!”
“These celebratory occasions are designed to knit the community closer during the festive season. Our holiday procession, a tradition over two decades strong, pulls in a vibrant crowd of participants and spectators alike. Meanwhile, our Downtown in December event, launched in 2014, now welcomes over 3,000 attendees,” shared Christine Parkinson Jahrsdoerfer, the City of Coral Springs’ Creative Services Manager.
