On Saturday, March 11, Cooper City observed its 64th annual Founder’s Day with a day brimming with excitement. The weather was perfect, and the festivities began with a one-mile fun run/walk, followed by a pancake breakfast served by Boy Scout Troop 118.
As the day progressed and the temperature rose, the residents hit the streets once again for the Founder’s Day Parade. The parade was a hit, with little ones scurrying to collect candy from the participants. After the parade, the celebration moved to Brian Piccolo County Park, with food booths, performances, arts and crafts, and numerous children’s activities.
The day ended on a high note with a remarkable concert featuring the James Jeffrey Harris Gang, and a spectacular fireworks show that left everyone smiling. The anticipation for next year’s event has already begun!
