The City of Plantation Parks & Recreation, Police and Fire Departments, and the Plantation Chamber of Commerce will host the 2022 Fall Family Festival at Volunteer Park. This family-favorite annual event features a children’s carnival, inflatables, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, DJ entertainment, Police & Fire safety exhibits, police canine demonstrations, hay rides costume contests, pony rides, a magic show, games, and activities for the entire family.
Parents are invited to get the little ones dressed up for this Halloween “dress rehearsal.” It is a morning of great fun.
The festival is one of the many events sponsored by the Plantation Parks and Recreation Department, whose vision is to become a premier destination park system that welcomes and engages residents and visitors. Through parks and recreation services, we seek to enhance the quality of life and nurture the health and well-being of our community, our environment and our economy.
Admission is $5.00 per person, two years old or older, with festivities kicking off at 10:00 am. The festival will take place at Volunteer Park, 12050 W. Sunrise Boulevard on Saturday October 15th. For more info visit www.facebook.com/events/3391776991052992.
