Parkchella Music Festival Comes to Parkland

A Coachella inspired event will be held right in your backyard.

Bringing the Coachella Valley to Parkland, the City of Parkland is proud to host the Parkchella event free of charge to the local community. This is the third annual event and it continues to grow each year.

This year, Parkchella will be held on March 14th from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Parkland Amphitheater, located at 10561 Trails End Parkland, FL 33076. The event will offer many fun activities for the entire family including live music, food trucks, art, and much more!

At this year’s event, attendees will be able to enjoy a local artisan village, arts, and crafts, lawn games, a photo booth, and food trucks— along with a live concert by Supergold, a DJ all night (except when the band is playing), and aerialists.

“This year will be the third year that we have held Parkchella. This year we are featuring a Local Artisan Craft Village featuring items for sale such as handmade bags, art, crafts, jewelry, and more,” said Todd DeAngelis, Chief Communications Officer for the City of Parkland.

Parkchella started three years ago with the goal of delivering a day of fun and music for the entire community.

“The intent upon its creation was to bring a little Coachella to Parkland. Coachella, of course, is an extraordinarily popular music and arts festival held in the Coachella Valley of the Colorado Desert in California. The Parkland version of this festival is designed to combine upbeat energy with the hometown feel that makes Parkland such a great place,” said DeAngelis, adding, “Parkchella is yet another family-friendly, fun event for people of all ages.”

The Parkchella event continues to grow in popularity and attendance each year.

“In just a few short years, this event has become extraordinarily popular in the City of Parkland,” said DeAngelis.
