WESTON WORLD FEST A JOURNEY AROUND THE WORLD

Have you ever dreamed of traveling around the world in a single day, discovering new cultures, tasting an unforgettable traditional dish, letting yourself feel new rhythms that move the soul, and experiencing the art that connects humanity?  We have all imagined a passport filled with stamps that open doors to distant places known and unexplored.  Then don’t miss Weston World Fest 2026.

Presented by the Arts Council of Greater Weston and the City of Weston, this year’s event will be held Sunday, March 1, 2026, 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm, in Weston Regional Park.  Annalisa Walker, Special Events Manager for Weston, says, “This year’s theme, ‘Bridges Across the Waters,’ evokes a powerful image of connection and unity. Each participating country is invited to highlight its iconic bridges and waterways that highlight the “cultural bridges” that connect us. It is a wonderful picture of our Weston community.”

This year, 24 countries will be represented in the Country Booths, coordinated by Nisha Kumary in collaboration with volunteers from local schools and international community groups who work together to bring the festival theme to life, to make visitors feel they are truly traveling through each country—learning about its culture, participating in interactive games, and stamping their passports.

For food lovers, Magida Arslan and Adam Goldstein, Co-Directors of the culinary experience, have curated a diverse selection of restaurants and food booths offering tastings of international cuisine, from tropical specialties to traditional coffees.  Accessible pricing allows the entire family to explore new flavors and travel the world through gastronomy.

The artistic programming, curated by Bhavana Jain together with Brahman, brings together a vibrant lineup of performers who will delight audiences with traditional dances and music from around the globe. On stage, multiculturalism will celebrate the differences that truly unite us.

This year marks a changing of the guard.  Carol Lema, Founder and Director for 10 years, comments, “After several years living abroad, I created the Fest to share the beauty and variety of international cultures. This community-connecting event has grown, thanks to the dedication of many wonderful volunteers and the city’s generous partnership. It’s truly gratifying to be able to pass the baton and see this Weston tradition continue.”

2026 Event Director Carolina Herrera notes, “I have the honor of directing this edition of an event that touches my heart in every way. I am Colombian by origin, and from a very young age have been involved in organizations that promote multiculturalism locally and internationally. Leading this celebration is, for me, a privilege and a deeply meaningful responsibility.  Special thanks to Carol Lema for making this concept come to life in Weston.”

Laura Dobrzanski, ACGW President, invites all to join us at this celebration of multiculturalism as we cross bridges together.  She says, “Mark your calendars now for this event that grows bigger and more meaningful every year.”
