Coral Springs residents are eagerly preparing for a unique cultural experience at this year’s Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 4:00–10:00 p.m. at the City Hall Lawn, 9500 W. Sample Road. This event, with its authentic food, lively contests, live music, and a bustling beer garden, is not just another festival. It’s a celebration that continues to grow as one of the community’s most anticipated traditions.
“Oktoberfest is more than just a celebration of German culture,” said Coral Springs Mayor Scott Brook. “From the festive food and drinks to the lively entertainment and one-of-a-kind contests, our annual Oktoberfest event exemplifies the same spirit of togetherness and sense of community that makes Coral Springs special.”
This year’s festivities are packed with crowd favorites, promising something for everyone. From the Wiener Dog Dash Race at 5 p.m., to the live music by The Brussel Sprouts German Polka Band, and the roaming appearances by the beloved characters King Ludwig and Princess Therese. Families will enjoy the Kinder Carnival, while adults can compete in lighthearted challenges like the Stein Holding Contest and Yodeling Competition.
The Keg Tapping Ceremony will be at 6:00 pm sharp at City Hall, so come early and be ready for fun time!
Vendors will serve up Bavarian classics such as bratwurst, schnitzel, pretzels, and sauerkraut, alongside local food trucks. For guests 21 and older, the beer garden offers imported brews and German wines. Coral Springs resident Maria Soto summed up the atmosphere perfectly after last year’s event: “I remember the sound of the polka band echoing under the Florida palms. It felt like Germany collided with Coral Springs—in the best way.”
Admission and parking are not just affordable, they’re free, with additional convenience provided by a dedicated rideshare drop-off area near the stage.
