CELEBRATE THE ARTS DAY RETURNS TO WESTON

The Arts Council of Greater Weston, in partnership with the City of Weston and the Weston Music Society, is proud to present Celebrate the Arts Day on Sunday, February 1, 2026. This free outdoor family festival will be held in Town Center Park from 12:00 to 4:30 pm.  This beloved annual event invites families, students, and community members of all ages to enjoy an inspiring afternoon dedicated to creativity, learning, and the arts.

The event draws more than 2,000 visitors each year and features interactive arts and technology displays, offering hands-on activities from local middle and high school clubs designed to spark curiosity and imagination in children of all ages.  Throughout the afternoon, guests will enjoy live entertainment from Weston’s talented student bands, choruses, and drama departments, filling the park with music and energy.

Highlights include:

  • Young at Arts Museum’s outdoor studio and mobile museum, highlighting our coral reefs      
  • Community Graffiti Wall – a festival favorit,e where all visitors can unleash their  inner artist in a large collaborative mural
  •  Family Fun Zone featuring lawn games, temporary tattoo artists, balloon art and more 

This day celebrates Weston’s vibrant cultural community.  Says Event Director Jami Nix Rahn, “Hosting Celebrate the Arts Day in beautiful Town Center Park, with its waterfront setting and expansive lawn, gives our community room to gather, explore and connect.  Each year, the creativity and talent of our students surpass expectations, reminding us why this event is so meaningful.”
