Can Do Kid: Pablo Charles Mignot

At just seven years old, Pablo Charles Mignot has already shown Weston what determination and heart can achieve. A proud second grader at Everglades Elementary School, Pablo is more than just a standout athlete with Weston FC, he’s a budding scholar, karate enthusiast, model, and an inspiration to his classmates and community.

A Well-Rounded Young Athlete

Pablo’s love for soccer shines brightest. Playing with Weston FC, he brings energy, speed, and creativity to the field. Even when the game doesn’t go his way, his spirit never wavers. One memorable game, after a string of missed chances, Pablo scored late, proving that persistence truly pays off.

Outside of soccer, Pablo has practiced karate at Premier Martial Arts, where he learned discipline and focus, and explored modeling with Sprout Agency, gaining confidence in expressing himself. His willingness to try new activities shows that he’s not afraid to step beyond his comfort zone.

Scholar and Leader at Home

In the classroom, Pablo excels as a strong reader with a love for math. He even set himself the ambitious goal of reading 50 books in a year, demonstrating the same commitment to learning that he brings to athletics. He’s also studying French, connecting with his international heritage and broadening his world view.

At home, Pablo plays an important role as his family prepares to become a foster family. His kindness, empathy, and maturity shine through as he supports and encourages those around him.

Inspired by Family and Heroes

On the field, Lionel Messi fuels Pablo’s dreams, while at home, his parents are his guiding lights, teaching him compassion and perseverance. Born in Singapore to a French father and an Italian-Argentinian mother, Pablo also looks up to his two older brothers, professional rugby players in France.

A Community-Rallying Achievement

Recently, Pablo competed in Colossal’s Youth Athlete of the Year competition, a nationwide campaign raising funds and awareness for the Why Not You Foundation and the V Foundation. Thanks to incredible local support, he placed 3rd nationally, an impressive achievement that highlights his talent and character. Though the contest has concluded, his journey inspired young athletes across Weston to chase their dreams with dedication and heart.
