Driven young women aged 14-18 attending a Broward County high school are invited to apply for the Soroptimist of Davie Youth Leadership Award. The award honors students who view challenges as opportunities and excel through volunteering and leadership.
This prestigious award, accompanied by a one-time cash prize, celebrates young women who actively make our community and world brighter. Your efforts, whether it’s combating drugs, crime, and violence, championing environmental causes, or advocating against discrimination and poverty, have a significant impact. If your work particularly uplifts women or girls, let them hear about it!
The Soroptimist community is a global sisterhood of women, many of whom are dedicated volunteers confronting the same challenges you’re addressing. While the joy of volunteering is rewarding in itself, it’s essential to celebrate and recognize outstanding contributions. That’s where the Soroptimist of Davie Youth Leadership Award comes in.
An esteemed panel of judges will select the award’s recipient, with the winner and her chosen charity being celebrated at the Soroptimist Annual Awards Ceremony in the Spring.
