The Arts Council of Greater Weston is once again inviting the community to get creative with the return of its annual Instagram Photo Contest. This year’s theme, “Peeking Through the Window,” encourages participants to frame their world through the lens of a window—capturing what they see, what’s reflected, and the stories those views tell.
Open to all ages and skill levels, the contest runs from June 16 to July 31, 2025. Participants are asked to submit original photography that explores the theme in imaginative and meaningful ways.
President of the Arts Council of Greater Weston shared her excitement for this growing tradition, saying, “This activity has continued to grow in numbers of submissions and participants. We are delighted the work will be on display at the Weston branch Library during September 2025.”
The contest culminates in a juried exhibition at the library, where selected photographs will be showcased for the public. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top entries.
Lifrancis Rojas, Contest Director, emphasized the contest’s inclusive spirit and creative possibilities: “This is a juried event with cash prizes awarded. The adherence to the theme and the photographers’ creative interpretations have inspired us all. Whether you are a professional or just a photography junkie of any age or skill level, we encourage and welcome your entries.”
