Cooper City is gearing up to celebrate its 66th annual Founder’s Day on Saturday, March 8, 2025. This year’s festivities embrace a nostalgic “Throwback to the ’90s” theme, promising a day filled with family-friendly activities and entertainment.
The celebration kicks off at 8:00 a.m. at Brian Piccolo Park, located at 9501 Sheridan Street, and continues until 9:30 p.m. Attendees can look forward to a variety of attractions, including children’s rides and games, a car show, and an arts and crafts exhibition. Live entertainment will be featured on two stages, showcasing a diverse lineup of performances throughout the day. The evening will culminate in a spectacular fireworks display, lighting up the sky in honor of the city’s rich history.

Residents were invited to participate in designing the official Founder’s Day T-shirt, incorporating the ’90s theme into their creative submissions. Admission to the event is modestly priced between $1 and $2, making it accessible for families and individuals to partake in the day’s activities. With an expected attendance of around 4,000 people, Founder’s Day serves as a testament to Cooper City’s enduring sense of community and tradition.
