Halloween celebrations in Davie and Cooper City promise fun and spooky activities for the whole family.
In Davie, the town’s popular Haunted Hot Rods Family Fun Event takes place at the Old Davie School Historical Museum on October 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature Halloween-decorated classic cars, trunk-or-treating, candy giveaways, games, and a flea market for all ages to enjoy. This family-friendly event encourages guests to dress in costumes and partake in the festive atmosphere while exploring vintage hot rods decorated for the holiday.
Meanwhile, Cooper City is hosting its annual Trick-or-Treat Shop-to-Shop event on October 27 from 10 a.m. to noon at Cooper City Plaza. Children, accompanied by parents, can visit local businesses, collecting candy and treats as they go. With businesses participating in the spirit of Halloween, kids can trick-or-treat in a safe, community-centered environment. This event provides a perfect opportunity for families to explore the town while festively engaging with local businesses.
Davie will also host its annual Halloween Happenings event at the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds, 4201 Rodeo Way, on October 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
A host of free family activities, including costume contests, live performances, train rides, inflatable rides, a DJ, and more will be available for all to enjoy. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.
The costume contest will open to individuals of all ages at 11:30 a.m. Those interested in attending must come early to sign up. Registration will close at 11:15 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to participants in different age groups and categories.
The annual horse costume contest will commence at 11:15 a.m. Pre-registration is required. Horse owners must call 954-797-1181 to register.
