A Soldiers Tale, An Evening with October 7 Survivor Yadin Gellman

Yadin Gellman’s journey from the historic streets of Jerusalem to the front lines of Israel’s elite Sayeret Matkal unit is a testament to resilience and bravery. Growing up during the tumultuous times of the second Intifada, Gellman’s early experiences shaped his path toward becoming a combat soldier, dedicated to defending his country in its most critical times.

His valor was notably displayed during the harrowing events of the Hamas massacre on Simchas Torah in 2023, where he stood in the face of terror, engaging in fierce combat to protect his fellow citizens.

After a decade of serving and facing near-death experiences, Gellman transitioned from soldier to storyteller, embarking on a new mission to share his riveting narrative.

His acting career, a stark contrast to his life in the military, serves as a platform for him to express and process his experiences, reaching out to others through the power of storytelling.

The Chabad of Weston is honored to host Yadin Gellman for a profound evening of reflection and insight. Scheduled for Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 7:30 PM, this event presents a unique opportunity for the community and the public at large to engage with Gellman’s compelling story firsthand.
