It’s A Wonderful Life Plantation Holiday Parade

Kick off the holiday season at The City of Plantation’s annual holiday parade. The family-friendly event has become Broward County’s unofficial start to the holiday season. Everyone will be in the holiday spirit, and there will be tons of things to do for every member of the family. The parade will take place on November 18th.

The parade route runs from State Road 7 & Broward Blvd to NW 69th Ave, concluding at Plantation City Hall. A great place to watch is right in front of Plantation City Hall! Parade favorites include the Plantation High School Marching Band, The Plantation Police Department’s Honor Guard,

The little ones will enjoy seeing some of the Plantation Fire Department’s Fire Engines and equipment. Be sure to be on the lookout for flying candy! Rides on the floats have been known to toss treats as they ride by. Plantation’s Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are always favorites for onlooking crowds.

“The City of Plantation is a growing and vibrant municipality, with the vision and support from the community,” said Plantation Mayor Nick Sortal, “We have something for everyone; community events, parades, and celebrations.”

The City of Plantation’s Parks & Recreation Department is looking for parade participants. This is a great opportunity for groups or businesses to connect with the local community.  For more info or to see how your group could participate, call 954-452-2510. The Parade begins promptly at 9:00 am.
