Hispanic leaders in Miramar were honored at the 2022 Latin Nights Gala Award Ceremony hosted by Commissioner Alexandra P. Davis on Friday, October 14, 2022, in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. The event took place at the Miramar Cultural Center Artspark.
This was an awards gala recognizing Hispanic American service and contributions. We celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month here in Miramar from September 15-October 15th and closed out the month with Latin Nights Awards Gala honoring local Hispanic leaders in our community.

Jorge Carballo, President & General Manager NBC-6/Telemundo 51, Miami
The event was emceed by Emmy® Award-winning journalist and news anchor, Jackie Nespral and featured live performances from award-winning Venezuelan American singer Edward Mena and Gianpaul and Latin Soul Band. Dancers from the Fajardo Elite Dance Academy also performed their Latin dance moves.
