Few things symbolize the holiday spirit than the flickering lights on a Christmas Tree or the beautiful flame of a Menorah candle. The community is invited to join together to kick off the holiday season on Friday, December 3rd at Light Up Cooper City at the Park.
“During this longstanding community tradition, the trees at Memorial Park will be covered in lights for everyone to enjoy,” explains Cooper City Recreation Program Specialist Brandon Zickar.
Residents will enjoy choral recitals by local schools and performances by local dance studios. Children can partake in holiday-themed inflatables, train rides, and other activities, while adults can do some holiday shopping at the craft fair, which will feature about ten vendors.
Santa Claus will be in town for this special event, taking photos with children at the gazebo. Be sure to charge your phone before you come!
With all this fun, guests are sure to work up an appetite. There will be a number of food booths, offering a myriad of tasty treats for purchase.
