The fifth annual Weston Town Center Food & Wine Festival takes place on Sunday, March 29th. It promises to be an enriching afternoon of sipping and sampling fine food, wine and spirits. As with all Town Center events, the Food & Wine Festival will be family-friendly, with children invited to partake in the tasty treats and also enjoy the fabulous entertainment and special kids’ corner.
“The purpose of this event is to celebrate the variety of superb dining and vendors in Weston and its surrounding communities while providing a unique networking opportunity to its guests,” explains Weston Town Center Marketing and Event Coordinator Angie Paulson. “This event will help strengthen, expose and increase our diversity of culture, flavors and wines.”
The Food & Wine Festival will be the toast of the town as patrons get the chance to sample a large selection of fine wines and champagnes. Paulson says vendors will also be serving spirits, such as tequila and whiskey, as well as beer.
Foodies will relish the opportunity to sample fare from more than 30 restaurants featuring everything from steak to sushi and everything in between, including international cuisine representing Italy, China, Peru, Mexico and more.
In between the bites and beverages, patrons can gather around the central stage. It will feature live music and entertainment throughout the afternoon, including a Cirque-style acrobatic performance and mixology demonstrations. There will also be a photo booth to capture memories of this fun-filled day.
Children will delight in the complimentary choo-choo train rides and balloon sculptures.
Tickets to the Weston Town Center Food & Wine Festival are $45 for adults, which includes food, drinks and alcohol. Tickets for those under 21 are only $25, which includes food and drinks. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
